KR was established in 2021, considering the impact of poor healthcare infrastructure in South Africa’s peri-urban and rural landscape, and taking into account the global norms and standards for renal care. Our dedicated team is committed to reach the millions of South Africans who inspired the Constitutional tenets of access to healthcare for all who live in South Africa. Borne from the dusty streets of Katlehong, KR has a passion for the communities of Mzansi, its co-creators, and the future of its leaders – a healthy society is a thriving society.

Our aim is to be at the forefront of the healthcare transformation initiative by providing affordable treatment to our under-resourced and underserviced communities. We seek to improve healthcare outcomes for renal patients through a holistic approach to patient care. We incorporate advanced medical technology for treatment, and innovative preventive measures through lifestyle interventions and community support programmes. Our approach seeks to emphasise early detection and preventive measures to manage critical kidney disease (CKD); we utilise diverse modalities to cater to different patient needs; and we collaborate globally to share best practices and strategies to enhance renal care.
